Henri Dikongue and Aladji Touré will share one stage at the 11th African Awards of Washington (AWA) on Friday, November 27, 2026, at Martin’s Crosswinds in Greenbelt, Maryland. The organizers are billing it as a night with two African music legends, and the ticket covers a lot more than a concert.
Two artists, one live night
Singer Henri Dikongue, introduced on the poster as “The Voice,” and bassist Aladji Touré, billed as “The King of Bass Guitar,” are both set to perform live. For music lovers in Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia, it is a chance to see the two on the same bill, in the middle of an awards evening.
